6 editions published in 1973 in English and held by 36 libraries worldwide
The majority of catalogues in this group are, not surprisingly, from the USA, although eleven other countries are also represented. With the general exhibitions there is a large number of two-person or group exhibitions. The 1913 Armory Show is included with later retrospectives, and the 1916 Forum Exhibition of Modern American Painters with its 50th anniversary retrospective. This group is an excellent general foundation collection of catalogues that would be impossible to obtain, for any art library wishing to build a research or teaching collection on twentieth century American art. Canadian art is also included. Catalogues are arranged alphabetically by country and city, then alphabetically by gallery or museum
