Alternate History for the Bengal Lancers

Stirling tends to write trilogies, so it is a surprise to see this well written story, set in a rich alternate history universe, as a stand alone novel.  Two centuries after a civilization halting asteroid strike on the earth, the British Empire--now based in India--is again rising to prominence. ...
