A nice addition to any young readers library. (2009-06-18)
This book/tape set features a song about what Jenny Jenkins will wear. Each of her friends make suggestions as to color, and Jenny turns each down until she decides to attend the fair bare (or bear, in this case). The bears previously starred in The Teddy Bear's Picnic and are making an enjoyable return in this song written as a picture book. The artwork is childlike and simple with a focus on the color which matches the words of the verse on each page. Kindergartners may enjoy singing the song and learning to identify the color words, but the nonsense rhymes may not be easily understandable. Recommned for teachers, parents and K-2 students.
