I just reread December for the third time- one of my favorite books.  In December of 1980, 4 psychic musicians gather to record an album in a Welsh abbey haunted since the 12th century- and it just happens to be the same night that John Lennon was killed.  The tapes for The Black Album were thought to be destroyed....  Deeply affected by various tragedies brought on by their experience, the four reunite 14 years later to record again and to heal the evils that have affected them.  Will the ghost of John Lennon appear? Rickman's classic tale has been out of print for years but is now republished as a Kindle book and a special edition by Mansion House Books, and even better, Rickman and his musical friends have recorded Abbey Tapes: the Exorcism by Philosopher's Stone available via iTunes and Amazon mp3 or as a CD via his website.  If you love Celtic legend mixed with contemporary ghost stories, folk rock music, your fiction bordering on horror, and a spellbinding read, you will love this, too.
